MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – The Friends of the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library is back with another used book sale.
The library collects used books as donations and sells them to the public at a discounted price during the two-day book sale on Friday and Saturday.
All the money they make goes back to benefit the library. The money helps with improvements, book purchases, special projects, supplies, and programming.
“We’ve seen quite a few people coming in, it’s been very busy, steady, a lot of returning customers, people look forward to this, they look forward to purchasing books, we’ve had some people say they’re purchasing Christmas gifts already,” Friends of ICPL Volunteer Julie Luehmann said.
On Saturday, the sale runs from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
