Actor Ranbir Kapoor has expressed his admiration for Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film ‘Dhurandhar’, highlighting its music as among his current favourites. In a video shared on the official Instagram page of his lifestyle brand ‘ARKS’, Kapoor responded to fans and praised the film.
“My current favourite song…I am still listening to all the amazing tracks from Dhurandhar. That’s right up there,” Ranbir said, mentioning music sensation Talwiinder. He also described ‘Dhurandhar’ as his current favourite movie, adding, “I think the entire cast and crew really smashed it…Really good times at the movies.”
Earlier on February 15, Ranbir Kapoor visited the ‘ARKS’ Bandra store in Mumbai to celebrate the brand’s first anniversary. Before entering, he posed for photographers and fans, impressing fashion enthusiasts with his look.
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part epic ‘Ramayana’. He is also involved in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’ and ‘Brahmastra 2’.
‘Dhurandhar’ has become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, surpassing ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, and has achieved cult status. Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan in key roles.
The sequel, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. The official teaser, released earlier this month, features intense action sequences highlighting Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s transformation into the spy Hamza Ali Mazari and includes returning cast members Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan.
Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, with music by T-Series, the sequel will have a pan-India theatrical release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, coinciding with Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi festivals.
