The grade 2 and 3’s at Parkland Elementary School with their free book!

I love to read month continues as we visit schools throughout the Pembina Valley with our partner Friesen’s Corporation.
Our latest visit took us to 70 grade 2 and 3 students from Parkland Elementary School, who loved having Pamela Hiebert from Friesen’s Corporation read them the book “Owl” written by Kara Griffin, illustrated by K. Shawn Larson.
Not only did they get to hear the book, but every student there got to take a copy home for themselves.
The kids loved the owl sound effects, and the beautiful pictures inside the book.
I love to read month with Friesen’s is far from over, we may be coming to visit your grade 2 student yet!
