Reaching Children with the Gospel

Date: May 30, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider Guest: Fred Pry MP3 | Order

According to the World Population Review, there are approximately 2 billion children in the world ranging in age from 0-14.  That’s one-quarter of the world’s population.

Sadly, children today are in the cross-hairs of efforts like the trans agenda and their admitted grooming and indoctrination.  They’re also being affected by broadcast and streaming TV, corporate America, social media, the educational system and other efforts.

All of these things magnify the need to reach children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Joining Crosstalk to discuss one such effort was Fred Pry, Vice President of Administration for Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).

After sharing some background on CEF, Fred described how a Supreme Court ruling now allows for CEF Good News Clubs to have equal access/equal treatment and take these clubs into the public schools.

The result is that this past school year there have been over 3,000 Good News clubs that have operated with over half a million children involved.  This is important because many of these children don’t attend church anywhere.

Fred discussed the impact of Satan clubs, CEF summer ministry camps/clubs, how the five-day clubs operate, how you can host a five-day club in your garage or backyard, the incredible worldwide emphasis of CEF and much more.

Defending Children from the Trans Agenda

Date: May 29, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider Guest: Rebecca Terrell MP3 | Order

Children today are being bombarded by the trans agenda.  Some may use terms such as “indoctrination” or “grooming” to describe it and that’s exactly what’s taking place as an audio clip played by Jim proves.  This grooming/indoctrination is happening in multiple ways and the guest on this broadcast describes these influences.

For this subject Crosstalk welcomed Rebecca Terrell (Tear-ell).  Rebecca is senior editor and regular contributor to the New American.  In the current issue of The New American Rebecca is author of the cover story, “Defending Children Against the Trans Agenda.”

Rebecca believes that our entire culture and nation is at stake.  The upcoming generation of children and teens is being brainwashed and it’s not only affecting us morally, it’s also affecting the U.S. birth rate which has been in steep decline for many years.  This brainwashing is happening to young people through school curriculum, media/entertainment, technology, corporate America, bans on conversion therapy and more.

A World in Struggle

Date: May 28, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider Guest: Gary Kah MP3 | Order

We are witnessing a world struggle for domination and control of the population, land, energy and even your health.  Right now, the World Health Assembly is meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, to finalize a vote on a pandemic treaty.    There’s also the struggle among nations as to who will/will not support Israel and the Jewish people.  Then there’s the current political struggle and the struggle over border control in America.  Where is this leading and what might this mean for evangelical Christians?

Returning to Crosstalk to answer these questions was Gary Kah.  Gary is founder and director of Hope for the World.  He’s editor of Hope for the World Update, an author and former Europe & Middle East Trade Specialist for the Indiana State Government.

Gary began by describing the timeline of the pandemic treaty being discussed by the WHO, a treaty that’s been in the making for a few years.   It’s being backed by the Biden administration.  In order to avert any resistance from Congress, they’ve been referring to this as an accord.  That way they can say that the Senate doesn’t need to ratify it since it’s not really a treaty.

If this treaty passes, the WHO would be given incredible power and it could be used to force what Gary described as “draconian measures” on the population of America when the next health crisis takes place.  This means Americans could see restrictions in regard to speech, privacy, travel, choice of medical care and informed consent.  In other words if passed, the WHO would move from being an advisory body to a global authority as it pertains to public health.

Interestingly, Gary reported that Florida and Louisiana passed laws stating that their state officials will not abide by the directives of the WHO regardless of whether the Biden administration supports this or not.  He also noted that on May 8th, a letter went out from 22 U.S. attorneys general to the president urging him not to sign the WHO documents.

As usual, Gary had a lot of great information to present including the United Nations Summit of the Future, Iran moving key military personnel to Syria, their uranium situation, foreign nations attempting to infiltrate U.S. Navy bases each week and much more.

Escalating Toward Euthanasia

Date: May 23, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider Guest: Brad Mattes MP3 | Order

Brad Mattes is president of Life Issues Institute which was founded in 1991 to serve the educational needs of the pro-life movement.  Brad is the host of Life Issues, a daily radio commentary, the weekly Straight Talk on Life Issues and has produced numerous radio specials standing for life

What used to be called euthanasia evolved to become physician assisted suicide, mercy killing, and death with dignity.  The newest attempt to soften this killing procedure is use of the phrase, medical aid in dying.

This program centered on legislation being drafted for the federal funding of assisted suicide. HR-8137 is legislation to provide exceptions to the restrictions described in the Assisted Suicide Funding Restriction Act of 1997.  That legislation was designed to prohibit taxpayer funding for euthanasia, assisted suicide or anything associated with those activities.

Now there’s an attempt to redefine medical aid in dying to not include assisted suicide, euthanasia or mercy killing.  Brad believes this is an attempt to get control of the purse strings of Medicaid and Medicare.  Once they have that control, they’ll have the federal funding necessary to kill many more people.

A Current Focus on Israel

Date: May 22, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider Guest: Dr. Gary Frazier MP3 | Order

Dr. Gary Frazier is a respected speaker and writer on the subject of Bible prophecy.  He is the founder and president of Discovery Missions.  He’s the author of numerous books including: Miracle of Israel, It Could Happen Tomorrow, Hell is for Real, Divorcing God: The Two Americas and The Event: The Dream of World Peace Realized.

On this broadcast, Gary shares the big picture when it comes to Israel.  It’s the fact that biblical prophecy will be fulfilled.  Gary noted that we forget that such prophecy is fulfilled incrementally over time.  So what exactly are we seeing at the present time as it pertains to this “big picture”?  It’s the idea that a well-funded hatred is showing toward Israel as people chant things like, “From the river to the sea.”  Interestingly, many of those protesting have no historical frame of reference for such activity.

Don’t miss this discussion as you’ll hear Dr. Frazier comment on points such as:

Are we headed toward a Russian led Islamic invasion of Israel?  What part will Iran have in this?

How critical to this discussion is Isaiah 17:1 that describes the destruction of Damascus?

Will every single nation, including the U.S., turn against Israel?

What impact should everything that’s happening have on us as believers today?

These and other questions are answered, and listeners present their views as well, on this edition of Crosstalk.

The Death of Iran’s President

Date: May 21, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider Guest: Michael Germi MP3 | Order

Michael Germi is a former Muslim, born in Iran into a Shia Muslim family.  In this setting he learned to practice Islam praying 5 times a day toward Mecca.  He fasted during Ramadan.  He practiced self-mutilation for the cause of Allah.  He migrated to Australia in 2006 and in 2009 found faith in Jesus Christ.  He later moved to the U.S. where he now proclaims the Gospel to Islamic nations.  He’s written several Farsi Christian books and desires to plant churches around the world where Persians are scattered.

Michael began with some history of Iran as they moved from conditions under the Shah to rule by the Ayatollah.  He describes how he grew up learning the Qur’an and Islam, not by choice, but by force and how he was taught he’d go to Hell if he didn’t abide by/practice the Islamic traditions.

The focus eventually switches to the helicopter crash that took the life of 63 year old Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other high ranking officials.  Raisi was known as the “Butcher of Tehran” and the “Hangman of Tehran”, having massacred thousands of Iranians.  Funeral services will run over several days.

As the broadcast moves along you’ll hear Michael as he comments on how this will affect the political situation in Iran due to the fact that Raisi was the potential successor to the current Supreme Leader.  He also comments on the reaction of the people to the death of Raisi, whether an Iranian official might have caused the helicopter crash, what we know about the current vice-president, Michael’s passion for reaching people in Iran with the Gospel message and much more.

Immigration Crisis Realities

Date: May 20, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider Guest: Mark Krikorian MP3 | Order

Mark Krikorian is a nationally recognized expert on immigration issues serving as the Executive Director of Center for Immigration Studies.  They are an independent, non-partisan research organization examining and critiquing the impact of immigration on the United States.  He has testified numerous times before Congress and has published articles in many outlets.

The discussion began with a look at the surge of Chinese nationals coming to the U.S. at rates never before seen.  In fact, Mark noted that since Biden became president, there have been more than 50,000 Chinese illegal immigrants that have come here, with most of them arriving through San Diego.  This is an obvious security issue for us and a great opportunity for the Chinese government to use the flow to include various types of espionage agents.

According to Mark, people from about 175 countries are known to be here.  In other words, the immigration situation has to be dealt with in dramatic fashion and Senator Marco Rubio makes that clear in an audio clip presented by Jim from Meet the Press.

Review this broadcast and you’ll also hear the following discussed:

Just last week nearly 150 House Democrats opposed legislation that detains and deports illegal immigrants who attack police officers.

Are non-citizens illegally registering to vote?

How do you round up two million “gottaways”?

The latest attempt to pass a border security bill.

The connection between U.S. immigration policy and drugs.

Harsh Sentences Unleashed on Pro-Lifers

Date: May 16, 2024 Host: Jim Schneider MP3 | Order

This broadcast highlights the sentencing of pro-lifers as a result of allegedly violating the FACE (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) Act.  For example:

Joan Andrews Bell, sentenced to 27 months in jail, community service and a $125 fine.

Lauren Handy, sentenced to 4 years in prison, 3 years supervision and a $125 fine.

John Hinshaw, sentenced to one year and a $125 fine.

Will Goodman, sentenced to 18 months and a $125 fine.

These are just 4 of several pro-lifers that Jim referred to from a recent LifeSite News article showing how the Biden administration is willing to use the Department of Justice as a weapon to silence their political enemies and perpetuate the killing of the unborn.

Juxtapose these sentences with those of carjackers, those who’ve attacked churches since the leak of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, those who’ve attacked pro-life pregnancy centers, illegal aliens and more.

How is this equal justice under the law when such individuals are conspiring to be peaceful on behalf of those who have no voice?  That question is answered as Jim presented the facts, and listeners responded, on this edition of Crosstalk.
