NUCLR Golf took to their official X account and shared snippets of Trump hitting a Nuke. “U.S. President-elect Donald Trump launches a NUKE during his round today with VP-elect JD Vance in Florida. (Via @Eric_Schmitt)”, they wrote. His shot really did travel an exceptional distance and was hit with power.

While Donald Trump’s shot really was an impressive one, as it turns out, it only managed to garner the positive attention of some.

Donald Trump does indeed have a long history with golf. He is a self-proclaimed great golfer, and while he has been praised by pros like Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson, he has also been accused of cheating. At times, he has taken an unconventional approach to golf tournaments, declaring himself the winner without even stepping onto the course. Michael Bamberger reported that Trump claimed victory in the 2018 club championship at his West Palm Beach golf club, without ever playing in the event.

This raises questions about his relationship with the competitive nature of the sport, blurring the line between personal achievement and self-promotion. He has also cheated in one of his rounds with Tiger Woods. Taking to this, one of them commented, “Guaranteed he cheated on the round.”
In the video, where Donald Trump is seen hitting the nuke, it is not clear if the ball landed inside the hole. The shot was long enough, but nukes are generally between 280 to 350 yards, and for some, it did not seem to be as big a distance as that.
