HISAR: Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi, Vice Chancellor of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar has been included in the list of top two percent scientists of the world released by Stanford University of America for the fifth consecutive time since the year 2020. This year Prof. Bishnoi has been ranked in both ‘Single Year’ and Complete Career categories.
This list is released on the basis of overall research achievements of various scientific researchers, quality of published research papers, impact factor, research citations, peer-reviewed papers and other major research parameters and their contribution in various fields.
Prof. Narsiram Bishnoi has made a significant contribution in the field of bio-fuel production, and has focused on generating energy sources from agricultural waste, thereby reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
His research contributes significantly to the development of renewable energy and is helpful in solving environmental and economic problems.
In the year 2021, he was awarded the NESA Fellowship of the Year Award by the National Environmental Science Academy (NESA), New Delhi. In the year 2019, he was awarded the Dr. SA Salgare Best Scientist Award by the Indian Academy of Environmental Sciences, Haridwar. In 2015, he was awarded the Best Scientist Award by the National Environmental Science Academy, New Delhi.
