Scientists make startling discovery after dissecting bodies of ‘alien mummies’

Scientists and researchers investigating what have been described as “mummified alien bodies” claim to have found bones and metallic structures inside one of the hands after “dissecting” it.

Mainstream scientists branded the unusual “discoveries” as elaborate hoaxes, made using animal and human bones, skin tissues and specialist glue, as far back as 2016.

Despite this, a team of UFO and alien researchers led by Mexican journalist Jamie Maussan, boss of paranormal-focused TV news magazine Tercer Milenio, continues to press on with experiments and dissections, in a bid to convince the world they are genuine corpses that are extraterrestrial in origin.

A video has been released showing a dissection of a small three-fingered hand of one of the specimens, from which what appear to be small bones and a metal object are removed.

It has been described as a “light metal” implant from the palm by those involved in the “investigations.”

Since about 2015 several of the “mummies” have allegedly been found by anonymous grave robbers in caves in the Nazca region of Peru.

Some were large and almost human in size with about 12 smaller specimens of under two-feet in height, that resemble the movie alien ET, also allegedly unearthed.

All were coated in a white powdery substance the team claims are algae fossils known as diatomaceous earth.

The latest video was said to be dissecting the hand of one of these smaller mummies often referred to as the Nazca Tridactyls.

The dissection was carried out by Dr Jose Zalce Benitez, who is described as the director of the Scientific Institute for Health of the Mexican navy.

He has a long history of working with Mr Maussan and a number of previous “alien bodies” they have highlighted as worthy of serious investigation have later been discovered to be misidentified, such as a mummified child, or hoaxes.

In the video Dr Zalce Benitez is seen to pull the metal implant from the hand with tweezers.

He said: “It is a very complex metal alloy that requires special knowledge and techniques to be able to achieve it with such quality and purity.

“It was possible to identify elements such as aluminum, tin, silver, copper, cadmium and osmium among others in smaller quantities and percentages.”

The video also shows what appears to be skin on one of the mummified hands peeled back, revealing alleged palm bones.

It was rehydrated before this was possible, according to the team.

He added: “We used a forensic technique to protect the tissue and minimize its degradation… a special serum that is used for the rehydration of corpses that has very specific concentration percentages.

“We use sterile swabs with a soft surgical cotton tip to avoid any type of damage or contamination to both the metal sample and the tridactyl hand.

“This technique is used by the FBI and helps recover data or information from relevant evidence in forensic investigations.”

In September 2023 the same team unveiled two other “corpses” and gave testimony at an open hearing of Mexico’s Congress.

They have been revealing new details about the corpses since around 2015.

However, since as far back as 2016, after the first specimens were unveiled, mainstream scientists in south America have been calling on the team to stop the grim exhibits.

The organisers of the ninth annual World Congress on Mummy Studies, which took place in Lima, Peru, in August 2016, issued an angry call on Facebook for an official inquiry into whether archaeological crimes have been committed from grave robbing.

The congress brings together world experts in mummies and skeletons in a new location each year.

Under the heading “The Fraud of Extraterrestrial Mummies”, translated from Spanish, the congress said it believed real human mummified remains had been mutated and re-arranged to create bogus alien-looking creatures.

Other scientists looked at X-ray images of the three-fingered hands released by the team and said they had been created using identifiable human hand bones from a number of bodies.

More recently, this January, critics, including top Peruvian officials from the Ministry of Culture, also claimed the smaller bodies were grim fabrications, based on two specimens seized by customs.

Dr Flavio Estrada, a forensic archaeologist with Peru’s Institute for Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, concluded the seized bodies were grisly dolls, “assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues. They’re not extraterrestrials. It’s totally a made-up story.”

Josh McDowell, a Colorado attorney, has tried to counter thus.

He told the MailOnline that those two alleged mummies were confiscated by Peruvian customs from courier DHL at an airport in Lima, and that they only superficially resemble those brought before Mexico’s congress.

He suggested someone else had constructed those to cash in on the craze and they were different to the real specimens “mostly held at the University of Ica in Peru.”

He suggested the forensic tests should continue as a result.

He said: “It would mean a true collaborative effort with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, working with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, to complete the studies legally, ethically and with respect to the cultural heritage of Peru.”

In October 2017 Express.co.uk revealed that Mr Maussan had accused the Peruvian Ministry of Culture of a “cover up” by labelling the bodies a hoax because it feared the “truth will lead to history having to be rewritten.”
