TOWN OF GENESEE — Friends of Retzer Nature Center’s Science Fest: Energy in Nature – powered by Generac will allow people of all ages to learn about the science in their daily lives.
Held at the center, S14-W28167 Madison St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, there will be hands-on activities, hikes and planetarium shows. Admission is free.
“Science Fest is a celebration of discovery, where curiosity meets the wonders of our environment,” said Retzer Nature Center Supervisor Janet Barthel.
“It’s an opportunity for everyone to engage with science in a fun and meaningful way! Science is part of our lives every day.”
Waukesha County staff and Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium staff will discuss topics that include natural resources, outdoor play, water conservation, recycling, wildlife, citizen science, sustainability and more.
