The beneficiaries of the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program in the Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija have received their payment for rendering public service.
Mayor Baby Armi Alvarez witnessed the happiness of the 288 beneficiaries when they received financial assistance.
“Ang insentibong pinansyal bilang sukli sa sipag at tiyaga na kanilang ipinamalas, sa sampung araw nang pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at kaayusan sa iba’t-ibang dako ng Science City of Muñoz,” the city government said.
The fund for the TUPAD was secured through the help of Senators Joel Villanueva and Loren Legarda.
“Katuloy ito ng payout na nagsimula kahapon kung saan ang mga benepisyaryo naman ng napakabuti nating Cong. GP Padiernos ng GP Partylist ang nauna nang sumahod,” the local government said.
In her message, Alvarez thanked the beneficiaries for their effort to help the local government.
She also expressed gratitude to the DOLE, Villanueva, Legarda, and Rep. GP Padiernos for their continued help to the people.
“Hindi po tumitigil ang Lokal na Pamahalaan na makipagtulungan at lumikom ng sapat na pondo para lalo pang mapalawak at maparami ang makikinabang sa programang ito,” the city government said
