Sana’a – Saba:
The University of Science and Technology in Sana’a launched on Monday the activities of the annual martyr anniversary 1446 AH with a speech event and a photo exhibition under the slogan “The martyrs’ sacrifices have yielded glory, victory and strength”.
At the launch, cultural activist and member of the Board of Trustees, Abdul Salam Al-Mutamiz, stressed the importance of commemorating the annual martyr anniversary , making it an awareness , mobilization station , recalling the lessons and heroic positions of the great martyrs in defense of the country, its security and independence.
For his part, the Secretary General of the University, Dr. Faisal Hazza’a, referred to the meanings and connotations of martyrdom in the way of Allah as a high status, a great position, a great honor and a great victory, stressing the importance of commemorating the annual martyr anniversary to perpetuate their exploits , honor and care for their families in recognition of their sacrifices to defend the pride and dignity of the homeland and defeat the invaders and occupiers.
Dr. Hazza pointed out that the culture of martyrdom has strengthened the Yemeni steadfastness in the face of the aggression coalition, pointing out that the martyr’s anniversary is a sacred memory to glorify the gift and sacrifices of the martyrs, which is the finest gift and the best that man gives to the present and future of the nation and for the pride, victory, freedom , dignity, and to promote the principle of martyrdom in the souls of generations.
