Young scientists at the 9th BRICS Young Scientists Forum say they hope they can use the platform to collaborate to solve the world’s problems.
The forum is being held in Sochi in Russia.
Young scientists and innovators from the various member states are presenting research and their innovations at the meeting.
Climate change, food security, renewable energy and Artificial Intelligence, among others, will be discussed.
South Africa’s Head of Delegation, Moses Basitere says, “I’m excited and most of the cases were what excited me more, you know for the SDG, so most of the training of this project are trying somehow to meet all these digits that we have and I think most of these young people are old enough to tackle the challenges.”
