Some 485 scholars have received their scholarship allowance from the Science City of Muñoz government, under the leadership of Mayor Baby Armi Alvarez.
The city government said the Alvarez administration continues to allot funds for the scholarship and educational assistance programs.
The mayor believed that having at least one college graduate in each family would help uplift the lives of its members.
“Layunin ng distribusyon ng stipend na matulungan ang mga mag-aaral na maibsan ang kanilang pasaning pinansyal hangga’t sila ay nagsisikap upang makapagtapos ng kolehiyo,” the city government said.
The local government hoped that the beneficiaries would use the allowance properly.
