A West Central Tribune story by Tom Cherveny on Nov. 07, 2024, noted landowners’ frustrations over a proposed transmission line to carry renewable energy from southwestern to Becker, citing a range of adverse consequences they expect from it.

I sympathize with the landowners.
The project is being done so that the coal-fired power plant at Becker can be shut down.
This makes zero sense.
I noted that Xcel Energy does not seem to be saying too much about saving the planet from carbon dioxide emissions supposedly causing ‘Global Warming’. I don’t blame them; man-made global warming is fake science.
I’ve been following this issue for over 16 years and have yet to see empirical evidence on how man’s CO2 can jerk the global weather system around when it comprises only 0.0016% of the total gases in the atmosphere.

The real driver behind transmission line expansion is money; not ‘planet eco-salvation’.
