The Science City of Muñoz, under the leadership of Mayor Baby Armi Alvarez, has received recognition from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for its contribution to modernizing the processes of serving the public.
Representing Alvarez, City Information Officer Sheila Umagat accepted the Certificate of Appreciation.
“Natanggap ng ating lungsod ang karangalang ito dahil sa ating masugid na partisipasyon sa mga programa, proyekto, at inisyatibo ng DICT tulad ng ICT Week, e-signature, e-governance, e-payment systems, at digitalisasyon ng mga pampublikong dokumento,” the city government said.
The local government thanked the DICT for the recognition.
