The government awarded 25 scientists for excellence in research at the 2024 Researchers Gala, IPN reports.
Education Minister Dan Perciun thanked the researchers for their activity, openness and availability.
The minister said that for next year, 2 million lei will be allocated for the field of scientific research at three universities in the country (USM, UTM and ASEM).
“Education through research is a prerogative to have the best specialists and to join the European community”, said academician Stanislav Groppa, one of the awarded researchers, a professor at the USMF “Nicolae Testimiteanu”.
The honorary diplomas for excellence in research were presented to the laureates by Minister Dan Perciun, members of the Parliament Eugeniu Pislariuc and Presidential Advisor for Education and Research Valentina Chicu.
