An awe-inspiring Science World exhibition brings the world’s wonders into focus, showcasing breathtaking moments of natural beauty, human experience, and astonishing accomplishment. Created by National Geographic, Spectacle opens on December 20 and runs until May 19.
Inspired by the book Spectacle: Rare and Astonishing Photographs, the exhibition features the work of some of the world’s most talented photographers. The collection invites viewers to explore moments of joy, chaos, and everything in between, highlighting life’s intricate beauty and the need to protect our planet. From microscopic marvels to grand landscapes, each photo offers a chance to reflect on our world’s astonishing diversity and fragility.
“As a science centre dedicated to igniting wonder, we are thrilled to present this stunning collection of photography from National Geographic,” shares Fiona Cole-Hamilton, vice-president of experience at Science World, in a release. “Showcasing people, places, and the planet, these striking images will captivate viewers—inspiring audiences to look differently at the spectacular world around them.”
