Could your organisation win Employer of the Year at the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards 2025?
Entries are open now for the category – and 14 others – at this year’s awards.
And we are delighted to reveal that COEL, the leading design and build fit-out company, is to sponsor Employer of the Year – an award that shines a light on organisations that go the extra mile for their employees, their community and the environment.
Cambridge-based COEL is renowned for working with employers on upgrading their offices and labs, so is ideally placed to support the category.
COEL’s CEO, Alistair Rumbelow, is proud to be supporting this year’s awards, which will take place at Hinxton Hall Conference Centre on 15 May.
“Having worked alongside so many ambitious and brilliant companies, supporting them with their office and lab expansions and workspace adaptations, it is clear that organisations within the science and technology sector are focusing on their workplace strategy and sustainability, as we’ve seen through many of our own design and build projects and fit-outs.
“This particular award, Employer of the Year, provides a great opportunity to demonstrate what makes your organisation an attractive place to work, both aesthetically and in terms of ESG (Environmental Social Governance) and impact within your community.
“We wish all those who submit an entry the very best of luck.”
Last year, the Employer of the Year title was won by quantum computing innovator Riverlane, while highly commended was Maxion Therapeutics.
Entry for all categories – which range from Start-up of the Year through to Life Science Company of the Year and Technology Company of the Year – is free online.
Finalists who make the shortlist will get two free tickets to our ceremony at the Hinxton Hall Conference Centre on the world-famous Wellcome Genome Campus.
Editor Paul Brackley said: “Now is the time to begin finalising your entries. Entrants can enter more than one category, but should read the criteria for each to find which they best suit.
“All of our awards are highly competitive and will be carefully judged by an expert panel.
“We look forward to receiving your entries before the deadline at the end of January.”
