workshop to be held January 23
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — Practice the skills needed to conduct Florida Horseshoe Crab Program Surveys. A free workshop will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa on January 23.
The UF/IFAS Extension Office is located at 3695 Lake Dr, Cocoa. There are two different session times to choose from 1 p.m. or 5 p.m., please plan on being at the session for approximately 1.5 hours. Staff will be available to answer any questions that you may have.
During this workshop, participants will practice four different skills that are necessary to conduct nesting surveys. They will also learn about the schedule for the spring 2025 survey season. New volunteers are welcome.
