Mancherial: Archana Noguri, a biology teacher at the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) at Devulawada in Kotapalli manal has been selected as a member of the National Mission for Mentoring (NMM) under the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). She received an email from Dinesh Chaturvedi, the convener of NCTE-NMM on Sunday.
The union ministry of Education has appointed her to the National Mentoring Committee, considering her efforts to transform the education sector over a period. She was congratulated by the District Educational Officer S Yadaiah, her colleagues and students.
As part of this monitoring mission, Archana will provide training to teachers from various states across the country on topics such as biology teaching methodologies, art education, foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN), national education policy frameworks, curriculum development, and digital education. The NMM was initiated as part of the new national Education Policy 2020.
Archana had received the national best teacher award from the President of India in 2023.
