Jaedyn Cannon recorded a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double for Science park with four assists and four steals in a 59-56 win over West Caldwell Tech in its season opener in Newark.
Down 44-41 heading into the fourth quarter, Science Park (1-0) outscored West Caldwell Tech 18-12 to take the lead and win.
Dante Terrell led the game with 15 points for Science Park and had four rebounds. Jayden Flagg scored 13 points with five rebounds and three assists.
Kamil Calloway and Mahki Moultrie each scored 14 points for West Caldwell Tech (0-1). Nasir Baskerville scored 12 points.
