BALI: Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Gaya made history after winning multiple medals at the Asian Science and Mathematics Olympiad (ASMO) International from Dec 12 to 15.
In English, Eryna Eravan and Dayang Sabreena Ammara won gold, Tasnim Sofea Aliff Saifuddin took silver, and Jane Emonsoi Frederick claimed bronze in the individual category, while Dayang Sabreena was also crowned Middle Primary Champion in the team event.
In Mathematics, Muhammad Qayyid Iman Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Shah Alqawiyy Ahmad Shah and Ahmad Alfateh Mohd Erfan received Merit Awards individually, with the SK Sri Gaya team also emerging Middle Primary Champion in the group category.
The competition drew participants from several Asian countries, highlighting the school’s strong performance on the international academic stage.
