Rapper Young Thug made his relationship official in grand fashion, proposing to longtime girlfriend Mariah The Scientist live on stage at a concert in Atlanta.
The entire moment during the Hometown Hero: Young Thug & Friends concert was captured on video.
In the clip, Young Thug drops to one knee, beaming as he reveals an oversized diamond ring, with the words “Will You Marry Me” lighting up the massive screen behind him.
The crowd erupted as Mariah, visibly emotional, accepted and slipped the sparkling ring onto her finger.

Overjoyed, she grabbed the microphone and told fans, “Guess I’m getting married!” before sealing the moment with a kiss as the arena went wild.
Mariah has been open about her desire to marry Young Thug, telling Power 105.1 recently that she’s ready to settle down and hopes to start a family.
The couple, together for roughly four years, briefly split in October but reconciled quickly.
Young Thug, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, is a Grammy-winning rapper and one of Atlanta’s most influential hip-hop figures. He rose to fame in the mid-2010s with his unconventional vocal style, bold fashion choices, and genre-defying sound.
Over the years, he has released several critically acclaimed projects and collaborated with some of music’s biggest names, all while remaining closely tied to his hometown.
Mariah The Scientist, born Mariah Buckles, is an accomplished R&B singer-songwriter known for emotionally rich lyrics, soft yet powerful vocals, and music that explores love and self-reflection.
She has built a loyal fan base as an independent artist, earning respect for her honesty and artistry rather than simply being known as a rapper’s partner.
