Kelly LeBrock is back in the spotlight after her Hollywood exodus.
The Weird Science star walked the red carpet in a tailored blazer, leather pants, and rugged cowboy boots emblazoned with her initials at the Vanderpump Foundation Dog Gala, a charity benefit thrown each year by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Vanderpump.
LeBrock quit the business of show years ago, following her highly public divorce from action star Steven Seagal. She rarely leaves the confines of her remote ranch in Santa Ynez, Calif. — about a three-hour drive up the coast from Los Angeles — but for animal welfare, she decided to step out.

“I don’t really go out anymore. I’m sort of a bit of a recluse, but I like it like that,” LeBrock told The Daily Mail on the red carpet. “I gave up diamonds for dirt, and I have a big ranch that I have horses and cattle and dogs and chickens, and I take care of it myself… I have one man, one day a week that comes and helps.”
LeBrock called the compound, where she’s lived for 35 years, “a little gem of its own. I live in church. The countryside there is so incredible.” But because of her love of animals, and a scary brush with skin cancer, she said she was “happy” to be at the Maybourne in Beverly Hills supporting Vanderpump’s Dog Gala, which helps raise money for the rescue, rehoming, and rehabilitation of dogs.
A native New Yorker, LeBrock began as a model, became the face of Christian Dior, and was cast in her first two film roles as the platonic ideal of a “perfect” woman.
In The Woman in Red, LeBrock plays a woman so ravishingly beautiful that Gene Wilder’s Ted Pierce follows her around San Francisco in pursuit of her, nearly upending his life. In Weird Science, LeBrock literally plays the “perfect woman,” as envisioned and Frankensteined together by a pair of geeky high school students (Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith).

Though LeBrock became a sought-after star following their premieres, she went on to appear in only a handful of subsequent films before her flight from Hollywood.

LeBrock married her The Woman in Red producer Victor Drai in 1984, but they divorced in 1986. The following year, she met, married, and welcomed a child named Annaliza with Seagal. They had two more children, Dominic and Arissa, before they divorced in 1994.
“When I split with Steven, the divorce was very ugly, and details of the case were on the evening news,” she told The Daily Mail in 2013. “I didn’t want my kids seeing it, so I simply got rid of the TV. I moved my kids out of L.A. so they could grow up with real people — the kids of gas pump attendants, plumbers and real family people.”
Though now she rarely acts, LeBrock did turn up in the 2015 Starz original A Prince for Christmas as Ariana, the queen of a fictional European kingdom called Balemont.
