Avery Cherilus-Rogers scored a game-high 13 points to lead Weequahic to a 50-41 victory over Science Park in the Slow Mo Showcase in Newark.
After a tight first half that saw Science Park (3-6) holding a 21-19 lead at the break, Weequahic took control in the second half. Weequahic (5-4) outscored Science Park 15-8 in the third quarter to take a 34-29 lead.
Weequahic continued its strong play in the fourth quarter, putting up 16 points while holding Science Park to 12.
Ekaou Harris added 10 points for Weequahic, while James Porter contributed nine.
