Mysore/Mysuru: Pushpa Nayak Bhat was awarded Ph.D. in Spiritual Science by the Yoga University of the Americas, Miami, USA, during the 9th Convocation held at the Global Yoga Summit recently.
Conducted under the guidance of Yoga Guru Dr. K. Raghavendra Pai, her thesis explores “Professional Enrichment of Psychological Counsellors by Inculcating the Qualities of Lord Krishna – The Supreme Counsellor.”
The study highlights how Krishna’s strategic and empathetic communication in the Bhagavad Gita can enhance modern therapeutic practices.
Wife of U. Yogesh Bhat, Dr. Pushpa is the daughter of B. Prakash Nayak and Kesari P. Nayak of Mysuru.
