EUGENE, Ore. – The Eugene Science Center is introducing a unique experience that combines yoga and stargazing.
Yoga enthusiasts can now enjoy “Yoga Under the Stars,” a monthly session held in the center’s 360-degree dome. The inaugural session has already sold out.
“Yoga under the stars is an opportunity for people to come and practice yoga under the planetarium dome,” Stefani Roybal, community engagement director at the Eugene Science Center, said. “People can breathe and stretch and contemplate their place in the universe which is really great because part of our mission is to foster critical thinking about the universe and our place in it,” said Roybal.
The next sessions are scheduled for February 13 and March 16. With only 20 spots available, participants are encouraged to plan ahead.
The cost is $25 for members and $30 for general admission. Reservations can be made on the Eugene Science Center’s website.
