Families in Eastbourne are in for a treat this February half term as the hugely popular children’s show Exciting Science returns to The Royal Hippodrome Theatre for two explosive performances on Sunday 22nd February.
Designed to entertain and inspire children aged 4 and over, this brand-new, high-energy show puts the “exciting” firmly back into science, combining jaw-dropping experiments with laugh-out-loud comedy and plenty of educational surprises along the way.
Young audiences can expect to witness volcanic eruptions, smoke blasters, and even a vacuum cleaner transformed into a missile launcher, all delivered in a fast-paced production packed with “wiz, bang, pop… and splurt!”

The show has proven to be a huge hit with families across the UK, praised for making science accessible, memorable and thrilling for children, while keeping parents just as entertained.
A spokesperson for The Royal Hippodrome Theatre said: “Exciting Science is always a fantastic event for us. It’s energetic, educational and enormous fun, and it’s the perfect activity for families looking to do something special during half term.”
With school holidays approaching, families are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
