Awarded first place nationally for its innovation in healthcare, the project introduces a smart wearable device for the early detection of deep vein thrombosis, using sensors and artificial intelligence to enhance patient safety through a practical and cost-effective solution.
During the exhibition, the team presented their work to an international audience and received high-level visits, including from Ireland’s Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Minister Helen McEntee, and Minister of State Neale Richmond. The programme also included visits to leading academic, innovation, and technology institutions in Ireland, providing valuable exposure to global research, entrepreneurship, and digital innovation environments.
This participation reflects the high calibre of Jordanian students and underscores the importance of supporting youth-led scientific innovation on international platforms.
