One of the UK’s leading women’s hormones experts is heading to Eastbourne’s Devonshire Park Theatre for a brand new theatre tour, which will debunk decades of misinformation around menopause, female health and hormones. Dr Louise Newson, who is the founder of the free award-winning Balance menopause support app (which has had more than 1.5 million downloads to date), is embarking on a journey around the UK next year to educate as many women as possible around the science and history of hormones.
A follow on from her hugely successful 2024 theatre tour, Newson’s new Breaking the Cycle: The Power of Hormones show, will see her visiting locations all across the UK, in a bid to challenge everything you’ve ever been told about female hormones and challenge years of medical misogyny…
Tackling questions around hormones, contraception and reproductive health, Breaking the Cycle: The Power of Hormones promises to be an invaluable evening for everyone – from women in their 20s trying to navigate contraception and PMS, to women in their 40s and beyond trying to increase their knowledge about perimenopause, menopause, HRT and testosterone.
Kicking off in April 2026, locations include Nottingham, Bristol, Darlington, Worcester, Winchester, Exeter and Swansea. The event will offer real-life stories, myth busting facts and the opportunity for the audience to ask their own questions to Dr Louise, the host of top-charting podcast Dr Louise Newson podcast and author of Sunday Times bestseller The Definitive Guide to Menopause and Perimenopause.
