MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) – The Moline Public Library announced they will be starting a Science Fiction Book Club.
The library says the book club will focus on science fiction books, from classic novels to brand new books and everything in between, but all speculative fiction, including fantasy, sci-fi, horror, alternative history, etc., is fair game.
The first meeting of 2025 will be held on January 22, at 6 p.m. They will be discussing the bestselling and critically acclaimed novel, Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir.
A limited number of books will be available for check out leading up to the book discussion, the library said. To locate a copy, please visit the library’s 2nd Floor Information Desk or call 309-524-2470.
