Science World is hitting the road in early February to visit the Bulkley Valley.
From February 3rd to 7th, exhibits will be visiting various schools in Smithers and Houston with live science demonstrations and activities.
“When we are in a region, we take advantage to see if we can also get access and present something to the public,” said On The Road Program Manager Stefano Giulianetti.
On February 8th, events at the Smithers and Houston Public Libraries are planned that anyone can participate in.
“The best thing we do is really play to the audience. If we have a young small audience of preschoolers at a library, we cater to them and to the science they want to hear,” said Guilianetti.
He added shows are dynamic and involve the audience by bringing them into the demonstration.
The On the Road program runs through the entire school year, aiming to reach every school in the province about every four years.
In 2023, the program visited schools in the Lakes District and Nechako regions.
