“If all schools prepare a blueprint for scientific laboratories based on the mantra of ‘Viksit and Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ (Developed and Self-Reliant India), all possible assistance will be provided to turn that idea into reality,” announced Mumbai BJP President and MLA Ameet Satam here on Tuesday.
Satam was speaking after inaugurating the science exhibition of the K-West and P-West wards, where he was welcomed by a robot. Congratulating the participating schools and students, he said that through platforms such as science exhibitions, the country would gain the strength to become truly self-reliant by 2047.
The exhibition was hosted by Versova Welfare School and jointly organised by the Brihanmumbai West Division and the participating schools. Arun Deo, President of the Versova Welfare Association and former Deputy Mayor, expressed satisfaction that their school had received the honour of hosting the exhibition in the K-West ward after a gap of two decades.
The grand inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Dharmendra Naik (Education Sub-Inspector, K-West and P-West wards), Ujeshwar Athawale (Principal, Versova Welfare School), Dr Ashish Vashi (Chief Convener, K-West and P-West wards) and special guest Jaibal Naduvath (Vice President, Observer Research Foundation). The event became memorable with the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of students and teachers.

The organization running the Versova Welfare School has accepted the host position for this exhibition, and it has been jointly organized by the Brihanmumbai West Division and the participating schools. Arun Deo, President of the Versova Welfare Association and former Deputy Mayor, expressed satisfaction that their school received the honor of hosting this event in the K-West ward after two decades.
The grand inauguration ceremony, held in the presence of Dharmendra Naik (Education Sub-Inspector of K West and P Ward), Ujeshwar Athawale (Principal of Versova Welfare School), Dr. Ashish Vashi (Chief Convener of K West and P Ward), and honorable guest Jaibal Naduvath,(Vice president of ORF) became memorable due to the participation of hundreds of students and teachers.
