PASCO — Science fiction enthusiasts can get their fill as RadCon returns Feb.13-15 at the Pasco Red Lion, 2525 N 20th Ave.
The convention is open Feb. 13, from noon to 9 p.m.; Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Register before Feb. 2 and admission is $45; after that date, it’s $50. Children 12 and under are admitted free with an adult.
In its 35th year, the RadCon convention began in 1992 as a small literary event for high school students. However, the excitement exploded and the convention has expanded to include merchants, an artist alley, a fire show, gaming, an art show, auctions, a scavenger hunt, hidden gems and a masquerade costume contest.
Special guests and performers for the 2026 event include Isaac C. Singleton Jr., Jeff Sturgeon, Yoshi Vu, Davide Gerrold, Bob Brown and Brittany Torres.
Attendees can find trinkets, participate in meet-and-greets with guests of honor, snag some autographs and pose for selfies.
There’s also a special KidCon area for ages 4 to 17. In addition, there will be sponsored 21 and older events in the Party Wing with RadCon’s After Dark Bar.
