This week on streaming, a new season of Netflix’s legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer arrives with ten new episodes. Over on Hulu, Erin Lee Carr, the documentarian who brought us Britney Vs. Spears delivers a new doc, Fanatical: The Catfishing of Tegan and Sara, about the real-life identity theft of musician Tegan Quin. And on Prime Video, Josh Brolin stars with Peter Dinnklage in the caper comedy Brothers.

Tegan and Sara are pretty famous. They have performed with Taylor Swift, wrote the theme song to The Lego Movie and have a massive fan army devoted to them. But fame doesn’t insulate you from hackers and catfishers and scams, and the new Hulu documentary Fanatical: The Catfishing of Tegan and Sara exposes the frightening ordeal that Tegan has gone through for over a decade, as someone posing as her has catfished numerous fans and stolen her identity. The story has been kept quiet until now; you can watch it unfold when the new doc drops on October 18.

Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, which is based on the book series by Michael Connelly, returns for season three this week. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo plays the titular lawyer Mickey Haller (referred to as the Lincoln Lawyer for the practice he runs out of his car) for a season based on Connelly’s book The Gods of Guilt.

Essex North Shore Technical and Agricultural School marked two big steps forward Thursday with the ribbon-cutting on the school’s new animal science building and the launch of a project to change Gallant Hall to geothermal power.The new two-story building next to Angell at Essex contains lab space for animal dissections and areas for kennels and dog training for students in animal science fields such as equine sciences, veterinary science, or the school’s companion animals program.The expanded space will enable increased enrollment of 100 students over four years, Essex Tech Superintendent Heidi Riccio said.
“(This project) is the fulfillment of the hopes and dreams of the young people who we have the privilege to serve,” said Russell Johnston, acting commissioner of elementary and secondary education.“And when I think about the dreams that come into this building, they are the dreams of students from rural, urban and suburban communities,” said Johnston. “And there aren’t too many schools in this part of the state that serve students from such a combination of communities.”The construction, which broke ground last fall, was funded by a combination of federal sources such as the Capital Skills Grant and a state bond anticipation note, as well as excess stabilization funding.“This is exactly how we should be spending our money — to make facilities like this,” said state Sen. Joan Lovely, who received her associate degree in large animal science from the school. “I will always be a supporter of this school, its students, and the educators and administration who are turning out these amazing educated students. Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti addressed Kylian Mbappe’s recent visit to Stockholm and stated, “I don’t have a travel agency to organise the player’s trips” at a prematch press conference on Friday.
Mbappe traveled to the Swedish capital over the international break, with local authorities confirming that a prosecutor is looking into a report of a suspected rape there without anyone in connection to the case being named.
The France star called reports about the accusation “fake news” on X, formerly known as Twitter, amid his lawyer saying the striker is “astonished” to see his name being linked to a rape inquiry by the media.
Ahead of Madrid’s match against Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu on Saturday, Ancelotti was asked what he thought about Mbappe’s expedition and whether the player had told him he was leaving Spain.
“The rest days were scheduled for him and then everyone chooses what they want to do,” Ancelotti said. “I went to London for two days and I haven’t asked anyone’s permission. I also don’t have a travel agency to organise the players’ trips.”
After he nursed a muscle injury last month, Mbappe is now “close to 100%” according to Ancelotti, who added that “it’s a pleasure to watch him train”.
“He’s taken advantage of the break to improve his condition,” Ancelotti revealed. “He’s very well, happy, and looking forward to returning tomorrow and being important for the team. These 15 days have helped him a lot, because he is a different player to what he was before the break.”
Probed on whether Mbappe is “affected” by the inquiry, Ancelotti said: “I talk to the players every day. I can comment on what I said before, which at this point is speculation. I don’t see him affected at all, [and instead] with a lot of enthusiasm to contribute to the team.
Ancelotti stressed that he has only worked with Mbappe on a “physical” level.
“On a tactical level, his position does not change from how he has played in recent games. He can vary his position on the left wing with Vinicius, but we have been focused on physical work. This break has been good for him and I see him very well,” Ancelotti reiterated.
Away at Celta then, Mbappe looks set to continue as a central number 9 with Vinicius to his left and most probably Rodrygo to his right.
