Stanford Seed Business Conference to Spotlight AI’s Transformative Impact on African Enterprises

The Annual Stanford Seed Transformation Network (SSTN), Ghana Chapter Business Conference 2024 is set to ignite a revolution in African businesses, empowering entrepreneurs and industry leaders to harness the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Conference will be held on the theme: “SMART Africa: Leapfrogging the Conventional and Transforming Business with AI.”

A statement issued in Accra said the Conference will be held on Thursday 31st October 2024 to welcome both local and international participants.

It said speakers would explore how businesses can adopt AI to innovate, scale, and stay competitive.

It said it had been designed for forward-thinking business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals across Africa, particularly those in the business and technology sectors interested in digital transformation, AI applications in business, expanding market reach through innovation, learning from industry experts and networking.

The statement said there would be an interactive panel discussion as part of the conference which will feature industry experts like Mr. Ebo Richardson (Digital Transformation Consultant), Dr. Stephane Nwolley (CEO, Npontu Technologies) and Madam Solace Kidisil (Group Operations Lead, Nsano).

Others are Claud Kweku Hutchful (CEO Kowri Ghana & Cote d’Ivoire) alongside Patrick George Quantson (Group CE, Kowri).

It said Mr. Moses Baiden, CEO Margins Group Limited, would be the main speaker for the event.

The statement said for those passionate about digital transformation, AI applications, expanding market reach, or networking with industry leaders, the conference offered a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights to advance your business.

Mr. Carl Richards, the President of SSTN Ghana, said the network was committed to pursuing business growth technology and they were thrilled about the STN Business Conference 2024, which would serve as a catalyst for innovation and growth in the African business landscape.

Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism and Buddhavanam Stall was inaugurated by union Minister for Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekawat at the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) in Patna on Tuesday.
The union Minister visited the Telangana stall which has a display of Buddhavanam, a Buddhist Heritage Theme park developed by TGTDC at Nagarjunasagar, Ramappa Temple, a world heritage monument at Palampet, in Mulug District and Golconda fort, Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Shekawat said there were wonderful monuments and beautiful spots in Telangana and that he would like to visit Ramappa temple at Palampet and Navabrahmeswara and Jogulambatemple temples at Alampur.
The union Minister invited the Tourism Development Corporation chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy to his Office in Delhi to discuss on development of Telangana as a world class destination.
Ramesh Reddy while explaining the enormous tourism potentiality of Telangana state, thanked him for inaugurating and visiting Buddhavanam Stall. Dr. E.Sivanagireddy, Buddhist Expert Consultant briefed the Central Minister on the unique features and various segments of Buddhavanam only one of its kind in India.

Joondalup set to become a major tourist and events destination for the future

City of Joondalup Mayor, Hon. Albert Jacob says the City has taken some big steps to grow its tourism offering, leveraging the area’s natural and built attractions.
“The new Ocean Reef Marina development is our most exciting project to date and will create a world-class recreational, boating, residential and tourism precinct with capacity for over 550 boat pens and 200 boat stackers to attract international tourists, recreational boaters and marine based businesses to the area,” Mayor Jacob said.
“The project will deliver Perth’s first coastal pool and new hospitality and accommodation options, creating an iconic site for tourists, generating jobs for local people, and further solidifying Joondalup’s reputation as one of WA’s best coastal destinations.”
In addition, Mayor Jacob highlighted the opportunities for investment in new hotel and short stay accommodation in the coastal precinct offered by the Ocean Reef Marina development.

Bhairathi Ranagal: Trailer of Shivarajkumar-led film to drop on THIS date

All eyes are currently on Roaring Star Sriimurali’s Bagheera, which is the big Deepavali release from Kananda cinema, but equally keenly expected is a film coming out only 2 weeks later – Bhairathi Ranagal. The Shivarajkumar-led film is the much-awaited prequel to his 2017 film Mufti and delves into the circumstances that made him the feared, and revered, crime boss Bhairathi Ranagal of Ronapura.

But what would push such a man to then take the law in his hands? That is what the film will delve into. The team has so far only revealed a teaser and the title track and the next big update, we hear, is the trailer.According to the buzz in industry circles, the trailer of Bhairathi Ranagal will be a Kannada Rajyotsava presentation on November 1st. An announcement for the exact time is expected shortly. The film pairs Shivarajkumar with Rukmini Vasanth, and brings Rahul Bose to Kannada cinema as the antagonist. Also on the cast are Shabeer Kallarakkal, Vasishta N Simha, Madhu Guruswamy and Devaraj. Sriimurali is rumoured to have a cameo, as the film was initially announced as a prequel and sequel to the events of Mufti.

The actor admitted the same during a recent TV interview and added that he is currently seeking treatment for the same. His commitment as judge on Dance Karnataka Dance continue, as also the promotions of Bhairathi Ranagal, but all new work has been pushed ahead to sometime in February-March 2025, once he returns from the US, where he will have surgery.
