Book club donates to libraries
Published 2:51 pm Sunday, April 19, 2026
The Third Thursday Book Club recently presented three copies of the children’s book, “Max and the Moo Mystery,” to the three local public libraries. The book was written and illustrated by Kerri Rundstrom, a family nurse practitioner in Keysville. Rundstrom said the book explains the Alpha-Gal illness to young children. She has treated numerous cases of pediatric alpha-gal in her patients and felt there was a need to help parents explain this illness to young children. Copies of the book were also donated to libraries at Prince Edward County Elementary School and Fuqua Elementary School.
